O Lord God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, we come before You with hearts filled with gratitude and adoration, acknowledging You as the "tower of salvation" for Your people. As found in 2 Samuel 22:51, we declare, "He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore." We are reminded today, especially in the tumultuous times we find ourselves living in, of the steadfast strength and refuge that is found in You.

Heavenly Father, we praise You for being our shelter, our fortress, and our deliverer. In a world that appears so chaotic and overwhelming, we thank You for being the unshakeable tower where we can seek refuge. Just like David, Your anointed, we acknowledge our dependence upon You. You have called us to be Your children, and to us, You extend mercy beyond measure. We ask that Your mercy would be abounding in our lives, especially in moments of weakness and distress.

Lord, we reflect on the depth of Your compassion, which is eternal and unwavering. Just as David glorified You for Your faithfulness, we join him in lifting our voices in praise. May we never forget the kindness You have shown to not only David but to his descendants, which includes us, as we have been grafted into Your family through Christ Jesus. The promise of mercy flows from generation to generation, and we are blessed inheritors of that promise.
