O Sovereign Lord, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the One who spoke the universe into existence, we come before You in humility and reverence, acknowledging Your infinite wisdom and power. We stand in awe of Your ability to speak into our circumstances and shape our lives with Your divine word. We recall the scripture that says, ‘And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches’ (2 Kings 3:16, KJV).

Lord, just as the prophet Elisha was instructed by You to command the people to dig ditches in that dry valley, may we hear and respond to Your calling in our own valleys today.
