Help us to remove anything that stands between us and a deep relationship with You.
Gracious Lord, grant us wisdom and discernment as we navigate this world fraught with distractions. Let Your Holy Spirit guide our decisions, illuminate our paths, and empower us to be warriors of faith in a culture that seeks to redefine worship and faithfulness. Remind us of the beauty and the power of a pure heart and a focused spirit, fixed solely on You, our Savior.
As we throw the dust of our past offenses and brokenness into the brook Kidron, let it be a reminder of our humbling before You. We praise You for the forgiveness we receive through Christ’s sacrifice, which allows us to start anew. Help us to carry this posture of humility and repentance into our daily lives. Where we have strayed, lead us back with Your gentle hand, back to a place where worship is unadulterated and seekers can find rest in Your truth.
Lord, just as Josiah led a reform in Judah that brought the people back to You, may we also be vessels for Your transformation at home, in our communities, and in our churches.
