Almighty and Gracious Father,

As we come before You today, our hearts echo the beautiful sentiment found in 2 Corinthians 8:17, **"For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you."** Lord, we thank You for the prompting of the Holy Spirit and for the examples of those who embody the spirit of generosity and willingness in serving others in Your name.

We acknowledge, O Lord, that it is by Your grace that any of us can respond positively to Your call. Just as You stirred the heart of Titus to be eager and willing to serve, we pray that You would stir our hearts as well. Help us to accept exhortation and encouragement from those around us, enabling us to discover within us the call to act, to go forth with the pure intent of reaching out to those in need. May we not resist the pull of Your spirit that urges us to step into new opportunities where we can make a difference in someone’s life.

Lord, infuse our spirits with the same enthusiasm Titus exhibited. We commit to being forward and proactive in our service. Let our actions be driven by a desire to fulfill Your purpose in our lives, embodying the love of Christ in all we do. Give us eyes to see the needs in our communities – whether those are physical, emotional, or spiritual. Ignite within us a passion to serve, a willingness to lend a helping hand, and a heart that surrenders itself to the needs of others, just as Your Son did for us.

We recognize the challenge of being involved; often, life’s distractions and our own busyness can keep us from the life of service You have called us to live. Forgive us, Father, when we turn inward and forget our duty to our neighbors. Instruct us, we pray, to be sensitive to the leading of the Spirit—to be likened unto Titus who chose to step forward, of his own accord, without hesitation. May we act decisively and be eager to share what we have learned about Your goodness and mercy. Help us to carry this good news to those who have yet to know Your grace.

Heavenly Father, grant us the courage to step outside of our comfort zones. Mold us into vessels of Your generosity, so we might not only talk of love but actively demonstrate it through our actions. May we emulate Your kindness in our interactions, showing compassion where it is most lacking—whether through giving, encouraging, or simply standing by someone in need.

As we seek to go forth and serve, remind us that every small step we take to help others can lead to profound changes in their lives and ours. We praise You for the heart of giving that you have cultivated in so many, inspiring our community with the selfless actions of individuals who have answered Your call. May their examples fuel our resolve; may their stories motivate us to embrace a lifestyle of service that mirrors Christ.

Lord, we stand ready, willing, and excited to follow the example set by those we've witnessed, to not only accept exhortation but to live it. Transform our hesitation into eagerness, our reluctance into passion for the work You have laid before us. In the opportunities You provide, may we go forth as faithful stewards, anticipating the ways we can invest in others. Remembering that whatsoever we do for the least of these, we do it unto You.
