Most holy and gracious Father, I come before Thee in reverence and in need, acknowledging that Thou alone art God, and that all true life, purity, and power are found in Thy presence. I thank Thee for Thy living word, and for the promise contained in holy Scripture: “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” Lord, I worship Thee for this holy invitation—to behold Thy glory—and I praise Thee for this divine work of transformation that is not born of fleshly striving, but wrought by Thy Spirit.

Father, grant unto me an “open face” before Thee. Remove every veil of unbelief, every hidden corner of sin, every mask of pride, and every excuse that keeps my heart guarded and my eyes dim. Forgive me for the times I have turned away quickly from Thy searching light, for the moments I have been content with a form of godliness while resisting the inward change Thou desirest to work. Make me honest in Thy presence. Make me willing to be known, corrected, and healed by Thee. Teach me to come not defending myself, but yielding myself—quiet, surrendered, and attentive—so that my soul may truly behold Thee.

Lord Jesus Christ, I desire to behold “the glory of the Lord.” Let my gaze not be scattered by the cares of this world, nor captured by the passing vanity of earthly things. When my mind is restless and my affections are divided, draw me again to Thee. Help me to behold Thy glory “as in a glass”—to see Thy beauty and holiness in Thy word, to recognize Thy faithfulness in Thy providence, and to adore Thy mercy in Thy gospel. Teach me to behold Thee with reverent wonder: Thy humility and gentleness, Thy purity and compassion, Thy courage and obedience, Thy suffering and triumph, Thy cross and resurrection. Let the vision of Thy glory quiet my fears, humble my pride, cleanse my imagination, and set my hope in heaven.

Father, I confess that I cannot change myself into the image of Christ by my own strength. I cannot sanctify my own heart, conquer my own secret sins, or produce spiritual fruit by mere resolve. Yet Thou hast spoken: “are changed into the same image from glory to glory.” Therefore I ask Thee, work in me that gracious change. Change my thoughts where they have been careless. Change my desires where they have been selfish. Change my words where they have wounded. Change my habits where they have enslaved. Change my reactions where they have been bitter or fearful. Change my priorities where they have been worldly. Change my worship where it has been cold. Change my love where it has been small. Make me more like Christ in the hidden places of the heart, not only in outward appearance.

Lord, let this transformation be “from glory to glory.” Do not let me despise small beginnings, and do not let me grow weary when growth seems slow. Give me patience to endure Thy process, and faith to believe that Thou art steadily at work. Let each step of obedience become a step of greater light. Let each act of repentance become a deeper cleansing. Let each trial become an instrument of refinement. Let each answered prayer become a testimony of Thy nearness. Let each day bring me closer to the likeness of Thy Son, until my life reflects Thy character with greater clarity.

Holy Spirit, I ask for the fulfilling of the promise: “even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” Come, Spirit of the living God, and breathe upon my soul. Convict me where I have compromised. Comfort me where I have been wounded. Counsel me where I have been confused. Strengthen me where I have been weak. Lead me into truth, and make Thy word living and mighty within me. Set a watch over my eyes and ears, that I may behold what is pure. Guard my heart, that I may not grieve Thee. Fill me with holy desire, holy reverence, and holy love.

Father, let my life become a mirror that reflects Thy glory in my home, in my work, in my relationships, and in my hidden thoughts. When others look upon me, let them see not self-exaltation, but the meekness and grace of Christ. Teach me to forgive as I have been forgiven, to serve as I have been served, and to love as I have been loved. Make my testimony steady, my conscience tender, my worship sincere, and my obedience complete.

And when I stumble, Lord, draw me back quickly. When my face becomes clouded by guilt or shame, remind me that Thou hast called me again to behold Thy glory. Lift my eyes, restore my joy, and renew a right spirit within me. Keep me near the cross, where pride is slain and mercy flows. Keep me near Thy word, where truth corrects and promises strengthen. Keep me near Thy people, where encouragement and accountability help me walk in the light.

I thank Thee, Father, that Thy purpose is not merely to improve me, but to conform me to the image of Thy Son. I trust Thee to finish what Thou hast begun. I surrender to Thy Spirit’s holy workmanship. Make me a willing vessel, a clean vessel, and a useful vessel. And may my whole life proclaim the truth of Thy word: “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” In Jesus’ name, Amen.
