Heavenly Father, Creator of all that exists, we humbly bow before Thee, recognizing Thy greatness and the depths of Thy love for us. As we reflect on the verse of 2 Chronicles 13:11, we are reminded of the ancient practices of devotion and worship that Your people maintained in their service to You. We come before You with hearts filled with gratitude for the way You have established order in our lives, reminding us of the sacred rituals that honor Your presence.

Lord, as it is written, "And they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense..." We recognize the importance of beginning and ending our days with offerings that are pleasing in Your sight. May our lives reflect the same dedication as those who tended to the daily sacrifices, ensuring that every moment is spent in communion with You. Teach us, Father, to rise each morning with a heart ready to give You our best, to lay our burdens at the altar, and to present ourselves as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable unto You.

Lord, we ask that every morning we may offer our thoughts, our words, and our actions as an offering unto You. Help us to dedicate each new day to You, to seek Your will before we step into the world. As the priests burnt sweet incense, may our prayers ascend like the fragrant smoke before Thy throne, a beautiful aroma filled with reverence and love. May we cultivate a spirit of prayer that sustains us through the day and connects us with Your heart.

In the same way, as the verse declares, "...and the shewbread also set they in order upon the pure table;" help us to set our lives in order before You. We acknowledge that life can easily become chaotic, but we implore You to grant us the wisdom and strength to prioritize our relationship with You above all else. Help us to create a pure sanctuary in our hearts, where Your presence can dwell, and where we may continually feast on the Bread of Life.

Oh God, May we desire to have that pure table in our lives, one where Your word, Your truth, and Your wisdom are laid out before us daily. Let us not neglect the nourishment that comes from Your sacred Word, but instead, let it be our daily bread. Instill in us a passion to dig deep into the scriptures, finding joy and sustenance in every page. As we partake of this holy nourishment, may it empower us to reflect Your light to the world around us.

Moreover, as we contemplate the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, we pray for our lights to shine brightly in the darkness. Lord, ignite our hearts with Your divine fire, that we may illuminate the paths of those lost in despair. Help us to tend to our lamps with care, trimming the wicks to ensure a steady flame that draws others to the warmth of Your love. Let our actions speak of the joy, hope, and salvation found in You.

Yet, Lord, we are also reminded of Your words, "for we keep the charge of the LORD our God; but ye have forsaken him." As we stand in awe of Your commandments, we ask You to keep us faithful to our charge. Forgive us for the times we have turned away, for the moments we allowed distractions to pull us from our focus on You. Strengthen our resolve to remain steadfast in purpose, for Your glory and for the advancement of Your kingdom.

Help us to be a reflection of Your faithfulness in how we live, love, and serve, embracing our commitment to keeping Your charge utmost in our hearts. May we always be found at Your altar, ready to burn the incense of our worship, maintaining the purity of our offerings, and ensuring that our lamps are burning bright, holding fast to that which You have called us to.
