Heavenly Father, Creator of all that is good and true, we come before You today with hearts open to Your guidance and with a spirit yearning for unity. Just as the priests and Levites of ancient Israel resorted to the King in 2 Chronicles 11:13, we too seek to draw closer to You, the King of Kings, and to each other in faith and fellowship. In this moment, Lord, we implore Your presence among us, knowing that only in You can we find the true expression of our faith, a faith that is vibrant, alive, and unwavering.

O Lord, we reflect upon the significance of the congregation of the priests and Levites during the reign of Rehoboam—individuals who were called to serve You, to be mediators between Your holiness and the people of Israel. These dedicated men left their homes and the places ascribed to them in favor of unity and devotion, coming together in a time of spiritual need. Father, we remember their commitment and their passion for Your house, the temple, which signifies the importance of place and purpose in our worship.

As we draw inspiration from their example, we pray for Your church today. In a world filled with division, we ask that You ignite a fire of unity among believers. May we, like the priests and Levites of old, recognize the call to gather in harmony, setting aside our differences for the greater purpose of glorifying Your name. Help us to come together as one body, reflecting the complete and perfect unity that is found in You. Let our hearts be attuned to the cries of our brothers and sisters, embracing them with love and compassion.

Lord, we acknowledge that there are many 'coasts' in our lives. We all come from various backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, yet Your call to us is the same. Help us to hear Your voice over the noise of the world, leading us back to each other and to Your presence. Just as the Levites and priests moved from their territories to follow the revelation given to them, we too may be called to step outside our comfort zones and engage with those whom we might not normally encounter. Teach us to extend our fellowship, realizing that in diversity, we reflect Your image more fully.

Father, we pray for our leaders—those entrusted with shepherding Your people. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and humility as they navigate the complexities of ministry in a fractured society. May they be compelled by love for You and for Your people, reiterating the call to gather and unite. May their example encourage the faithful to rise up, to support one another, and to work energetically for the advancement of Your Kingdom.

We beseech You, O Lord, to pour out Your Spirit upon us, refreshing our souls and renewing our minds. Where there may have been discouragement or division among us, restore our hope and ignite our passion for Your work. Let us be known for our love, not only for You but for one another, reflecting the nature of Christ in every interaction.

In this sacred gathering today, we invite You, Holy Spirit, to be our guide. Help us to remain steadfast as we resort to You, our ultimate source of spiritual food and nourishment.
