Heavenly Father,

As we bow our heads before You, we come to acknowledge Your infinite wisdom and providence in our lives. In moments when the path seems unclear and the challenges loom large, we earnestly seek Your guidance, as exemplified in 1 Samuel 25:20, which says, "And it was so, as she rode on the ass, that she came down by the covert of the hill, and, behold, David and his men came down against her; and she met them." Lord, this story of Abigail courageously facing David reminds us of the importance of boldness in faith and the power of divine appointment.

Father, we ask that You instill within us the same spirit of courage that Abigail displayed as she approached David. She rode unflinchingly through uncertainty, trusting in Your providence. In our own lives, Lord, grant us the strength to face our David-like challenges—the trials and tribulations that threaten the peace and joy You have placed in our hearts. Help us to meet these challenges not with fear and trepidation but with faith and unwavering trust in You.
