O Everlasting Father,

As I kneel before You in the quietness of this moment, my heart swells with reverence and gratitude for Your holy word. In 1 Peter 1:25, it is written, "But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you." Lord, I pause to reflect upon the depth of meaning encapsulated in this scripture—Your word, an unwavering foundation upon which all creation rests.
