As we gather in this sacred moment, we reflect on the words of Solomon in 1 Kings 8:13, where he declared, "I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever." These words resonate in our hearts as we endeavor to be a dwelling place for Thee.

Heavenly Father, we thank Thee for the privilege of being able to build structures that represent our love and devotion towards Thee. Just as Solomon constructed a magnificent temple, we recognize that our hearts must also be a temple where Thy spirit can reside. We pray that each day, we will lay down the bricks of faith, hope, and love, establishing a solid foundation upon which Thou may rest. Help us to remember that it is not merely the physical spaces that matter, but rather the spirit within them that truly honors Thee.

Lord, we ask for Thy presence to be settled in our midst as we devote ourselves to this sacred undertaking. May this place of worship not just be a building of stone and timber, but a true reflection of our commitment to serve Thee and follow Thy will.
