We reflect upon the words of the prophet Micaiah, who, in his boldness and truth, proclaimed, “Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.” (1 Kings 22:25, KJV) In these powerful words, we find not just a foretelling of events, but a profound lesson about the nature of truth, the challenges of fear, and the shelter of Your presence.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that the world we live in often tempts us to hide, to be silent, to conform to the voices of the masses rather than the voice of truth that You have placed within us. In moments of confusion and despair, when the clamor of deceit threatens to drown out the clarity of Your Word, remind us, just as You reminded King Ahab through the mouth of Micaiah, that there is truth that stands steadfast and that will ultimately prevail.
