Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for Your unending grace and mercy. As we gather in Your presence, we reflect upon the profound truth of Your Word, especially as it is revealed in 1 John 2:29, which tells us, "If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him." Oh Lord, what a powerful reminder that in Your righteousness we find our identity as Your children.

Lord, we acknowledge that You are the embodiment of righteousness. You are just, holy, and true in all Your ways, and it is in You that we find the perfect standard of what is right. Help us to understand the depth of Your righteousness and to embrace it as a guiding principle in our lives.
