Today, as we meditate over the words penned in 1 Chronicles 4:7, which declare, ‘And the sons of Helah were, Zereth, and Jezoar, and Ethnan,’ we seek to understand and embrace the depth of this genealogy beyond mere names, seeing in it the reflection of Your everlasting legacy.

Lord, we acknowledge the roles that families and generations play in Your divine plan. The verse we reflect upon reveals the lineage of Helah and reminds us that our lives are part of a greater narrative that You are writing through our families. May we always remember that each name, each person bears significance and purpose in Your eyes.

As we consider the sons of Helah—Zereth, Jezoar, and Ethnan—we ask for Your help in recognizing the spiritual inheritance we have received.
