Heavenly Father,

As I come before You today, I am reminded of the rich tapestry of lineage and legacy that You have woven throughout history. I turn my heart and mind to 1 Chronicles 2:49, which speaks of some of the intricacies of family, heritage, and the importance of names and places—you say, "She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsa." Lord, I thank You for Your Word, for the stories of our ancestors that echo through time, teaching us about faith, strength, and the foundations upon which we stand.
