O Lord our God, Almighty Creator of Heaven and Earth,

As the scripture reminds us in 1 Chronicles 29:8, "And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite," we reflect on the profound act of generosity embodied in this offering.

Father, we thank You for the precious gifts You have entrusted to us—our time, talents, and resources. We recognize that everything we have is a gift from You, and we are merely stewards of these blessings. As those who contributed to the treasure of the house of the Lord, let us be inspired by their example of selflessness and commitment. They understood the significance of their gifts, not just as individual possessions, but as part of a greater work, an offering to the Almighty, an investment into Your divine kingdom.

Lord, as we gather our own resources—our skills, finances, and even our very lives—to bring into Your service, we ask for Your guidance. May we be willing to part with our precious stones, those things we hold dear, just as those faithful individuals did, recognizing that true wealth comes not from accumulation but from generous giving.

Holy Spirit, stir within us a spirit of generosity. Open our eyes to the opportunities around us to serve others through our gifts.
