Heavenly Father,

In the stillness of this moment, I approach You with an open heart, seeking wisdom and discernment as I reflect upon the words of 1 Chronicles 23:8, which speaks of the sons of Laadan, indicating that ‘the chief was Jehiel, and Zetham, and Joel, three.’ Lord, I thank You for the lineage and legacy of leadership that is reflected in Your Holy Scriptures. It is through the faithful examples of those before us that we understand the depth of leadership, service, and dedication to Your purposes.

Father, I come before You to honor the attributes of these men—Jehiel, Zetham, and Joel—who were recognized as chief among their people. I acknowledge that true leadership is not merely a title or position; it is a state of the heart committed to serving others with integrity, humility, and a steadfast spirit. As I meditate on their commitment, I ask You to mold my heart in alignment with Your will, fostering a spirit of servitude within me, just as they exemplified.

O Lord, You know how desperately our world today cries out for authentic leaders. Leaders who will rise up amidst compromise and chaos, those who are willing to be Your hands and feet, embodying grace, compassion, and truth. Let us not seek our own glory or fame but instead strive to uplift and support those around us, recognizing that true greatness lies in our willingness to serve.

Help me, Lord, to be like Jehiel, Zetham, and Joel—not seeking the spotlight or accolades, but rather desiring to fulfill my roles with faithfulness and diligence. May my actions mirror their commitment to peace and harmony among our brethren, just as those men gathered people to serve You and led with honor.

Grant me the wisdom to understand the responsibility that comes with leadership. Father, as I draw nearer to You, I ask You to enrich my understanding of servanthood modeled by Jesus Christ, our ultimate leader, who showed us the true meaning of leadership through sacrifice and love.
